I decided to call for help and contacted a local wildlife rescue group. In the meantime, I stayed close to the elephant and tried to comfort it by talking to it softly and gently stroking its trunk. The baby elephant seemed to calm down a bit and even managed to nuzzle my hand with its trunk.

After what seemed like an eternity, the rescue team arrived, and they quickly assessed the situation. They carefully removed the thorn bush that was pinning the baby elephant down and examined its injuries. Unfortunately, the injuries were severe, and the rescue team knew that they had to act fast to save the baby elephant’s life.

They quickly administered first aid to the baby elephant and then loaded it onto a truck to transport it to a nearby wildlife hospital. I watched as the truck drove away, hoping and praying that the little one would make it through.

The next day, I visited the wildlife hospital to check on the baby elephant’s condition. To my relief, I learned that the little one was doing much better. The injuries were still severe, but the baby elephant was receiving the best possible care from the dedicated wildlife team.
